Due to the perishable nature of our products, all are shipped via UPS Next Day Air and UPS Next Day Air Saver from March through October. Next Day Air Saver service is not available to all areas and is not recommended for shipments going to Southern states. UPS 2nd Day Air service is available on our hot smoked products from November through February only. The exceptions to this requirement are our canned salmon products and our salmon chowder mix, which are shipped via UPS Ground year round. Next Day Air is the only service available to Hawaiian destinations. For Hawaiian rural areas, add $12.50. Packages are shipped on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, excluding major holidays and are usually shipped on the first shipping day following the receipt of your order. Due to the distance from Alaska to the contiguous 48 states, all Next Day Air packages are shipped in the mornings. If you place an order on Wednesday afternoon, for example, it will be shipped the following Monday morning. Within these guidelines, you can provide, in the ordering form, a desired delivery date for gifts you are sending to others. Interior Alaska Fish Processors, Inc. cannot be responsible for package spoilage caused by incorrect delivery information, natural disasters, or other events beyond our control that affect air or ground transportation. Rerouting of packages already in route or at the point of delivery will result in an additional charge of $10. If ordering a gift for a friend, it is the customer’s responsibility to notify the recipient of the package’s arrival to ensure that someone will be at the recipient address to receive the package. Interior Alaska Fish Processors, Inc. will not be responsible for package spoilage due to recipients not properly receiving and cooling packages. Interior Alaska Fish Processors, Inc. cannot ship to P.O. boxes or APO-FPO boxes.
